Project Details
Contor, having delivered similar projects previously with one of our key clients, was selected to deliver this Design and Build project for the landlord works of Unit 11 at White City Retail Park, Manchester.
Internally the project consisted of an internal strip out of existing stud partition walls, M&E, fixtures and floor finishes. The existing mezzanine and staircases were dismantled and carted away from the site. The existing roof and roof lights were also stripped and removed ready for the new roof installation.
Externally a new front extension was installed consisting of a steel frame structure, groundworks including piling, a new ground beam, alterations to existing live foul and surface water drainage, slab, curtain wall, rain-screen cladding and glass canopy.
New statutory service connections were also brought into the building and existing services were disconnected where unneeded.
Alterations to the existing pedestrian footpath, car park parking bays, islands and road surfacing rounded off a job.
